The European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment (EUROCAE) is the leading European body for ground and airborne equipment standards in international civil aviation. The technical standards are developed by international Working Groups, which consist of experts nominated by member organisations. Members include European and international equipment and airframe manufacturers, regulators, civil aviation authorities, service providers and airports.

To expand our team we are currently looking for an IT Support Specialist & Technical Programme Manager:

Job holder responsibilities

1          IT Interface and Support

  • Ticketmaster of our ticketing system
  • System administrator
  • First level ticket/member support
  • Analysis and proposal for improvement projects
  • Improve user experience by creating guidelines
  • Project management for IT and automation projects
  • Interface to IT subcontractor(s)
  • Translating technical descriptions into understandable explications
  • In-house expertise and records of all subcontracted IT solutions
  • In-house IT and equipment support
    • Staff equipment (laptops…)
    • Meeting rooms (audio video equipment)
    • Technical support for external events

2          Management of EUROCAE IT related technical standardisation activities

  • Managing a number of Working Groups (WGs) in line with EUROCAE’s established procedures and providing proactive services to WGs to ensure the high quality of deliverables and their timely publication, in close cooperation with the leadership of the WGs
  • Editing of EUROCAE Documents (EDs) and other deliverables for publication
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relations with relevant organisations in the industry, service providers, institutions and sector associations in Europe and beyond
  • Maintaining awareness on technological, economic and political developments affecting the aviation standardisation sector
  • Ensuring appropriate record keeping in compliance with reporting requirements to facilitate the accurate tracking of work progress


Eligibility criteria

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies;


  • professional training on an equivalent level in a relevant domain plus adequate professional experience


Specific competences and skills

  • Experience providing first class IT support and handling technical service tickets
  • Good understanding of operating systems, business applications, and network systems
  • Diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware & software and network devices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management and associated experience
  • Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills in English, EUROCAE's working language. A good level of French and/or another EU language is an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of working with Microsoft 365 , CRM, K2 (or equivalent automation tools), SharePoint and respective applications
  • Proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary, international teams and achieving the project goals whilst maintaining harmonious working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Experience in contract management would be an asset
  • Good understanding to support the team in the use of standard computer software, conference automation systems, website design, publication and social media tools
  • Expected to travel and to work in an international and multicultural environment



  • Full-time position, based in Paris region
  • Initial contract of 1 year, with option of extension
  • Base salary in line with French collective agreement; overpayment depending on qualification and experience of the jobholder.
  • Starting date: Q1/2022.
