EUROCAE WG-44 has developed standards for user requirements for terrain and obstacle data, user requirements for aerodrome mapping information, and interchange standards for terrain, obstacle, and aerodrome mapping data as well as guidelines for the verification and validation of Aerodrome Mapping Databases (AMDB) and Aerodrome Surface Routing Network (ASRN) for routing applications. Today, the scope of the work includes also standards for processing aeronautical data and standards for aeronautical information.
